She is not “my girl.”

She belongs to herself. And I am blessed, for with all her freedom, she still comes back to me, moment-to-moment, day-by-day, and night-by-night.

How much more blessed can I be?

No one is perfect.

& in realizing that you also must realize that no one is going to be 100% what you need. Everyone comes with flaws and a little baggage here and there, but finding who’s flaws are worth it to you, is finding the person that you need to be happy in life. Just like from the movie ‘Why did I get Married’ by Tyler Perry. I’ll never forget the 80/20 rule. Someone’s usually bound to have 80% of all that you need. The people who are stupid are the ones who go looking for that other 20%. They end up leaving their 80 for the 20, and don’t realize that they lost a lot more than they gained.

I’ve come to realize that no one will ever understand me…

"I am coming to terms with the fact that loving someone requires a leap of faith, and that a soft landing is never guaranteed."
